He seeks a dramaturgy of the intimate, here personal narrative and storytelling are intertwined, and where the ways in which suffering transforms the subjectivity of those who are subjected to it gets to be reorganized within his body. He strives to awaken the sensitivity of the other, and seeks, a form of sublimation through the incarnation of pain. Le gardien des enfants (OFFTA, 2022) is perhaps the culmination of a recent protean process combining healing, aesthetics and transformative justice. Indeed, the principles of uncertain body-voice causality and the illusion of dispersion seem to disturb the physical and psychic limits of the performer&#8217;s body, while questioning the boundaries between inside and outside the body. Ventriloquism places the materiality of the voice at the center of the theatrical experience by proposing a use of the voice that is as much about producing meaning as about appealing to the senses.\u00a0\u00a0The dissociated voice acts as a textual revelator for a play by JJ Houle that gives thought to certain existential issues that operate in the questioning of the flesh and its insufficiency. The research within herself of the author is similar to an escape of oneself: to slip away in order to merge \u00a0in a dreamlike structure which diverts her from a feeling of fundamental incompleteness.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><\/div><!--close column table wrapper.
