She is a co-founder of The Sky is the Limit Theatre, where they tell stories by, with and about people living in the margins, with a distinct focus on racialized, migrant and queer identities and experiences. They currently nurture their growing creative inquietude for diasporic and immigrant lives and experiences in an MA program at Concordia University. Banafsheh is preoccupied with home, memory, dreams, identity, un\/changing and relations (blood and otherwise), and all that would happen \u201cif only home [was not] the mouth of a shark\u201d (Home, Warsan Shire).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Sky is the Limit Theatre (TSLT) is an artistic collective committed to amplifying the diverse perspectives, histories and experiences of immigrant, racialized and queer peoples. Alongside original theatrical productions, TSLT is also a hub and publication for BIPOC performing arts criticism.
