She holds a BA in Dance from the Higher Institute of Arts in Damascus, a Diploma in Contemporary Dance from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds, UK, and has taught contemporary dance techniques at the Art Conservatory in Damascus since 2009. She began choreographing in 2014, developing work that delves into social questions shaped by personal experiences. Her choreographic work includes <\/span><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If My Body Had a Name<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Three Seconds<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Hoor is also currently active as a performer and collaborator with Margie Gillis and PPS Danse.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Over more than 20 years and across five continents, Neil Sochasky<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">has worked as a performer, rehearsal director, \u0153il ext\u00e9rieur, choreographer, teacher, and coach. As a performance coach in dance, theatre, and circus, he helps artists move more efficiently, communicate more clearly, overcome technical challenges, and address chronic injuries. <\/span>As a rehearsal director and dramaturge, he has collaborated with dance and theatre companies in France (Cie Pavlov, Transborder, Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Naranja), Canada (Margie Gillis Dance Foundation, Nad\u00e8re Arts Vivants, Ivanochko et cie \/ blackandblue dance projects, Hoor Malas), and the United States (Belinda McGuire Dance Projects). Emerging from personal experiences of loss through suicide, emigration, and cultural rupture, the work explores how individuals and communities might navigate mourning when inherited ritual frameworks are fractured or inaccessible. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Integrating movement, objects, and multilingual text, the work transforms the theatre into a shared ritual space for witnessing, reflection, and co-regulation.
