Since 2011, she has worked primarily in hip hop and a range of Kongo, Kameroon and Caribbean rhythms.Today, her approach explores the possibilities of channeling between heritage and actual times.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A\u00efchatou has performed alongside artists including Rihanna, Drake, Tory Lanez, Kranium, Loud and Marie-Mai, and at major Montreal events such as the Nuits d&#8217;Afrique festival, Festival Mode &amp; Design and Francofolies de Montr\u00e9al, guided along the way by some of the pioneers of Montreal&#8217;s street dance scene.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A former trainee at the Nyata Nyata company&#8217;s training centre, founded by Zab Maboungou, she now follows her own path. Working through the fusion of many movement cultures and their rhythms, it is by following an intuitive, timeless direction that she chooses to dance, to teach, to share and above all to centre herself in it. It is not simply a matter of reproducing gestures, but of living and experiencing movement through every cell, every breath. The dancer becomes both actor and spectator of their own body, conscious of the moment, of weight, balance, and the vibrations that inhabit them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This phenomenological work invites us to question the relationship between bodies and time, between the immediacy of a gesture and the trace it leaves in memory. In the choreographic research, Bantu and Fulani rhythmic traditions engage in dialogue with so-called postcolonial American dance cultures. They embody spontaneity and rupture. This tension fuels an exploration of states of bodily awareness, between control and surrender, grounding and lightness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>Sens In.verse<\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> thus becomes a space where dance becomes a lived experience, where the body reveals its deeper essence and its capacity to convey invisible narratives, buried emotions, and untold stories.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><\/div><!--close column table wrapper.
