Frédérique PAX Dumas is a performance artist and multidisciplinary creator, specialized in street dance. She devotes herself to the creative process and the power of artistic expression as a transformative tool, which led her to develop specific approaches that she shares in multiple formats.
In collaboration with digital artist Alexandre Lucenet aka Alien Dope and sound designer Lunice Fermin Pierre, Frédérique Pax Dumas developed Metamorphosis, a creation-research based on the study of the interface between dance and digital media. This interdisciplinary project contemplates dancing as a catalyst to explore the idea of transformation/metamorphosis.
