Aïchatou Erna Labarang

Aïchatou Erna Labarang, aka “iNTUÏT.ïV”, is a dancer and dance teacher of Cameroonian descent. Since 2011, she has worked primarily in hip hop and a range of Kongo, Kameroon and Caribbean rhythms.Today, her approach explores the possibilities of channeling between heritage and actual times.

Aïchatou has performed alongside artists including Rihanna, Drake, Tory Lanez, Kranium, Loud and Marie-Mai, and at major Montreal events such as the Nuits d’Afrique festival, Festival Mode & Design and Francofolies de Montréal, guided along the way by some of the pioneers of Montreal’s street dance scene.

A former trainee at the Nyata Nyata company’s training centre, founded by Zab Maboungou, she now follows her own path. Working through the fusion of many movement cultures and their rhythms, it is by following an intuitive, timeless direction that she chooses to dance, to teach, to share and above all to centre herself in it.
