Baco Lepage-Acosta’s artistic/life path is all over the place. As a multidisciplinary homebody that occasionally comes out to play, they like to mix it up. A slow walker at heart, although they can speed up, they work in resistance to linear time. Their practice is based on building playgrounds, problem solving and connecting the dots. They are currently growing into their own perception of what juggling is : a body in relation to any objects, sounds, lights, electronics, videos.

Their main inspirations to date are: the fleuve, snuggles, ice cream, fun textures, layers, dogs and puppycats (in no particular order). They take joy in learning, jokes, curiosity, honesty and friendship. What is life without them?

Open house dans mon cerveau – Techno juggling –

Open house dans mon cerveau – Techno juggling – is an awakening after a long juggling hibernation that aims to explore the possibilities of integrating technologies into this practice. This residency explores the use of reaction machines, costumes, manipulable objects, sensors, camera tracking, sound and light to create a multidimensional juggling. Building an installation in movement, elements such as time, space, gravity, friction and rotation will be used within this new work.
