Moved by elusive desires, Gabo and Andréanne come together for the first time to explore the interstices and points of friction between singular yet connected practices. They reflect on the living and the plastic space as rhythmic, musical materials—unfolding like a sonic writing of space and body. They seek embodiments that transcend reality, drifting into dream, the unspeakable, the ineffable.

Their creative process is deeply shaped by their queer experiences—transfemininity, non-binarity, lesbianism. These sensibilities permeate their entire approach: a search for porous, non-linear, fragmented forms that resist imposed unity and readability. It is both a political and a sensitive stance: an invitation to consider the body, language, and presence as terrains for experimentation and disturbance.

NEIGES BLEUES

Neiges bleues is a transdisciplinary research-creation rooted in a personal neurological experience: visual snow syndrome. This little-known condition alters perception through a constant veil of visual “noise,” akin to the static on a television screen with no signal. This disrupted vision of reality fosters a sense of isolation and distance from the outside world, from others, and sometimes from oneself. Seeking to translate this inner and sensory reality, Gabo and Andréanne present a world of blurred, imprecise perceptions, giving the audience a sense of what it is like to experience visual snow.
